Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Service Description
DebtRadar provides an API service that scans source code for AI-generated tech debt, security vulnerabilities, and suspicious dependencies. The service is provided "as is" and is intended as a supplementary code quality tool, not a replacement for comprehensive security audits.
2. Acceptable Use
You may use DebtRadar to scan code you own or have permission to analyze. You agree not to abuse the API by submitting excessive requests beyond your plan limits, attempting to reverse-engineer the scanning engine, or using the service for any unlawful purpose.
3. API Keys
You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure. Do not share your API keys publicly or embed them in client-side code. We reserve the right to revoke keys that are being misused.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Scan limits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle.
5. Limitation of Liability
DebtRadar scan results are informational and do not guarantee the absence of bugs, security vulnerabilities, or tech debt in your code. We are not liable for any damages resulting from reliance on scan results. Use the service as one part of your overall code quality strategy.
6. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect service availability. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate planned downtime in advance.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
